Ranger of the Year Skeet Shoot
You are invited to participate in the first ever Ranger of the Year Skeet Shoot held Saturday, January 26, 2008, during the South Central Regional Royal Rangers Conference. This shoot is not only for the Ranger of the Year candidates, but to all those of Adventure and Expedition age folks that attend the conference with them. Yes, we will also let sisters get in on the fun. We will provide you with some outstanding instruction (for those who have not ever played the game) and a couple of additional rounds of competition.
This is a 75-clay shoot at the Hill Country Shooting Sports Center, an official United States Olympic Training Site. Many believe it is the best and most beautiful shooting complex in the state. We will also provide you with lunch and awards for outstanding performance, so do not miss out on the fun. Bring your shotgun and 3 boxes of shells and come join in. You don't own a shotgun, you say? That is no excuse; we will loan you one of our 12 gauges, and if it is shells you need, they can be purchased at the Pro Shop (provided for the ROTY candidates). If that is not enough to whet your appetite, we will also allow accompanying parents and commanders to join in (sorry, no awards, just fun). You do not want to miss this!
Registration Form. Here is the registration form for this event. Be sure to fill it out and return it by the date indicated so we will know how many to prepare for.
